It is quite easy to find us because we are situated right next to the N1 highway between Cape Town and Paarl. Under normal traffic circumstances it would take you about 20 min from Cape Town to get to us. Travel on the N1 highway towards Paarl, drive past the Kraaifontein turnoff until you get Exit 34 which is the Lucullus, Maroela offramp. Take this exit and turn left at the stop street. Take the first gravel road right.
General
We are asked all sorts of questions by visitors to Bugz Playpark. Here are a few of the more common ones.
Where are you?
How much does it cost to visit Bugz Playpark?
Adults have to pay R25 entrance fee and kiddies R35 each. Pensioners pay R12.50 on weekends, public holidays and school holidays but are FREE on weekdays outside of the school holidays.
On weekends, public holidays and school holidays the token rides are open and they all require tokens. Tokens are R5 each and each ride requires a different number of tokens. E.g. the rowing boats will require 2 tokens and the quads 4 tokens.
A VIP wristband is also available. This allows kids to go on all the rides as many times as they like. Excluding quads and paintball and the BRAND NEW water speedslide. VIP wristbands are R70 each and are convenient and cost effective.
Can I pay with credit or debit cards in the park?
We accept a wide variety of cards at the entrance of the park as well as at the two food areas.
Will kids be supervised at Bugz Playpark?
When visiting the park all children must be supervised by an adult/carer. We do have operators at all of the token rides but it remains the responsibility of the parent/carer to take care of the safety of their child.
Am I allowed to bring my own food or picnic to the park?
Unfortunately no picnics nor own food is allowed on the premises. We have various spots on the premises where you can buy delicious food and drinks.
Do you cater for halaal food?
Our kitchen is not halaal. When hosting a party we make provision for halaal platters. On most weekends and public holidays we have a stall in the park that sells ONLY halaal products. This includes halaal boerewors rolls, halaal hotdogs and crisps and colddrinks.
Is parking for free?
All parking is free. Vehicles are parked at your own risk so please check that all doors and windows are locked and closed before you enter the park. Please make sure that you do not park in front of the gates where the train enters and exits the park.
