School Groups Overview
At Bugz Playpark we love to have schools visit us. We know that there is no better way of learning than through play.
We have created an educational visit programme that we are always trying to improve – a balance of fun, education and hands on learning that provides children with an engaging and memorable experience. Kids are welcome to bring their own packed lunch. We will designate a nice clean venue to each school to enjoy their food. We also have a restaurant that sells cold drinks and snacks.

Reptiles:
Join us for a touch & feel session with some fascinating reptiles. Learn more about what makes these creatures so interesting and why we need not be scared of them. We also take a look at how to approach these animals in a safe way so that we can stop any misunderstandings from happening between us and the reptiles that we should respect.
Recycling revolution
Join us in the recycling revolution and help us stop the world from drowning in rubbish. In the talk we will explain the importance of recycling and how the small things that we do for our environment can make big changes.
The road safety raceway
On the Bugz racing track it is usually no holds barred brutal racing. But today we have changed the setup a little. Today we are going to learn how to be safe on our roads. What signs to look out for, how traffic lights work with real working traffic lights as well as what the rules of the road are.
Nature edu-hunt
A treasure hunt is always exciting. The thrill of looking for clues, interpreting them and then eventually finding the treasure. This treasure hunt is all about Nature. Uncover clues, by using interesting natural facts provided in our bugz nature guide booklet, to eventually discover the treasure.
Pets and Paradise:
Paws for a Cause, Cape Town is an animal relocation program, which is based in the Northern suburbs.
They are directly involved in the upliftment of shelters and living conditions of neglected and abused animals in shelters and townships.
The aim of Paws for a cause is to re-home and feed abandoned animals by working with the Uitsig Animal Rescue, FAW, AACL and various other shelters to help accelerate re-homing and ease the pressure on over-capacity.
Paws for a Cause has helped over 200 animals in the past months to be re-homed to their now forever homes, we do this to give all abandoned, neglected and abused dogs, cats, rabbits and even potbelly pigs a second chance at life.

Rides are not open in the week. Schoolgroups can not be accommodated on weekends or during school holidays.
